NFL Draft Caps Banner Year for ONIT Football Trading Cards

BOISE, Idaho - The 2025 ONIT football trading card collection featured 113 athletes who heard their names called during the 2026 NFL Draft, including 46 who signed autographs for their respective college teams’ officially-licensed sets.

Including sets from previous years, ONIT produced cards of 172 of the 257 draftees (66.9%) during their college careers, with autographs from 91 different players who were selected in the 2026 NFL Draft.

Fernando Mendoza became the first No. 1 overall pick of the NFL Draft with autographed ONIT cards during his college career. The Indiana quarterback was taken first by the Las Vegas Raiders. Mendoza was the first of 15 first-round picks from ONIT’s 2025 lineup, including six of the first eight players off the board.

The first round also included eight additional players who were featured in 2024 ONIT sets. The 23 first-round picks with cards produced by ONIT are the most of any collegiate trading card company and, for many, their ONIT cards are the only officially-licensed cards on the market.

The 2026 NFL Draft was the culmination of ONIT’s most successful football season yet. The company added to its traditional Signature Series release with the introduction of two new brands, Gravity and ONIT Black. With three distinct products and robust growth in distribution, ONIT realized more than 100% year-over-year revenue growth in football.

The Nitro Box - the final configuration of the 2025 Signature Series team sets - is available now through ONIT’s official TikTok and Whatnot channels, as well as other online card breakers. The box is hit heavy with two autographs and an insert in each pack. The Nitro Boxes feature all of the ONIT Athletes selected in the NFL Draft, many of whom have a 1-of-1 City Limits Nitro Parallel which is exclusive to the Nitro Box.

In all, ONIT’s 2025 football lineup featured 17,164 unique card designs depicting 2,122 athletes across 26 schools.

Product development and athlete rights acquisition is underway for ONIT’s 2026 football releases and more growth is projected for the upcoming academic year.
