ONIT Women’s Sports Trading Cards Explode in 2024-25

BOISE, Idaho - In honor of Women’s History Month, ONIT recognizes the 1,506 women featured in the company’s 2024-25 team trading card sets - the largest collection of collegiate women’s sports cards in history. The athletes represent 92 teams across 45 schools in the sports of basketball, gymnastics, hockey, lacrosse, soccer, softball and volleyball.

The 2024-25 women’s team set collections feature on-card autographs from 277 athletes, including some of the highest-profile athletes in their sports.

ONIT connects fans and athletes through team collectibles. The company’s flagship product is officially-licensed, team-specific trading cards depicting the NIL of all student-athletes on a featured team who elect to participate. The team-specific sets feature at least 50 percent of each team’s roster, with the majority of sets including more than 80 perce

nt of the respective roster. In its third year of producing collegiate trading cards, ONIT nearly doubled its roster of women athletes year over year (838 in 2023-24).

The returning teams were highlighted by Nebraska volleyballUConn basketball and Oklahoma softball. The Cornhuskers, for the second consecutive year, were the top-selling women’s team as ONIT once again sold out of the team’s inventory.

Including Penn State’s national title run, nine of ONIT’s 12 volleyball teams reached the NCAA Tournament. ONIT’s fall lineup also featured four women’s soccer teams.

The winter sports championship season is dotted with ONIT teams. The women’s basketball tournament featured 13 teams with trading card sets from ONIT, including five still in the bracket. All eight ONIT gymnastics teams qualified for the NCAA Championships and Ohio State women’s hockey advanced to the national title game this weekend.

ONIT’s 2025 softball lineup includes 18 teams currently ranked in the NFCA Top 25, including 12 of the top 13. Orders are currently shipping for Florida, LSU, Ohio State, UCLA and Virginia Tech.

  • Fall - 16 teams, 295 athletes, 51 signature athletes
  • Winter - 48 teams, 676 athletes, 132 signatures athletes
  • Spring - 28 teams, 535  athletes, 94 signature athletes
  • Total - 92 teams, 1,506 athletes, 277 signature athletes
